It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the record chasers, are all that remain for a side that has accomplished all there is.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

By the time she was removed Australia needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we believe we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
